The SEO floor: check the damned deployed site
Thirty checks for the technical floor beneath a static site: reachable pages, honest metadata, working assets, and verification against the deployed URLs.

grime95 and this blog have RSS feeds, folks. Two real addresses, no invented subscriber army, and one author who still has to write the next entry.
I can give you a page address and hope you remember to come back, or I can give you a feed address and let your reader remember. For a site publishing a fictional booking every day, I'd rather not assign you homework.
The grime95 feed is feed.xml[1]Ref. 1grime95 RSS feed grime95.com. This blog's feed is index.xml[2]Ref. 2Blog RSS feed blog.patpadgett.com. Both are RSS[3]Ref. 3RSS en.wikipedia.org files in the published site snapshots. Neither needs Facebook or Instagram to decide whether a new entry deserves to appear in front of you, and you don't have to keep touring the website just because you liked something you read there.
Meanwhile, this blog's published feed snapshot contains the old "Awesome Setup" entry and an About item.
The format works. There's just very little in it. I can admire the plumbing all I want, but it cannot cure an author who doesn't publish. Shit. Apparently I can deliver a looooong silence quite efficiently.

My sites ship HTML, CSS and a little JavaScript on GitHub Pages.
